Network organisation

Cités des Métiers Network Association Status

It is created between the members who adhere to these statutes, an association called "Réseau Cités des métiers", referring to the label assigned by the "Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie".

The association is governed by the provisions of the French law of July 1, 1901 on association agreement and the decree of August 16, 1901.

Object - Role

The “Cité des Métiers” network is there to support the day-to-day work of all those working in the Cités des Métiers.
Its strong involvement in the Winter schools, as well as the numerous events it regularly organises in relation to different projects, demonstrate that the Network is a key player in the development of the Cités des Métiers.

The existence of the Network is also the affirmation of universal values around guidance, training and employment. And the Network also lives off many informal moments, often through bilateral relations between the Cités des Métiers.

The Chairman/Chairwoman of the International network of the Cités des Métiers has a triple mission :

  • Together with the General Secretary and the Responsible for the Label, to support the Network life as a whole and contribute to its development,
  • To remind the members at all times and on each occasion of the values that unite and energise us,
  • To ensure that each Cité des Métiers in the Network is able through it to assert and share its specific culture.
